IOI Loders Croklaan Gets Creative with Studio Grand OpeningShare This
Award-winning pastry chef to be featured at Creative Studio event
On the heels of a successful IFT exhibit, IOI Loders Croklaan, a leading global supplier of commodity and specialty oils and fats, will be celebrating the introduction of its Creative Studio with a grand opening event on September 5. The event, featuring James Beard Award-winning pastry chef Mindy Segal, will reflect IOI Loders Croklaanʼs creative approach to partnering with clients at the Creative Studio to collaboratively develop solutions and accomplish product development goals using its edible oils.
“The Creative Studio is much more than yet another facility with equipment. Itʼs a place where partnership, creativity, and unique expertise come together to create ʻbig ideas,ʼ” Maarten Goos, IOI Loders Croklaan Marketing Manager, said. “The grand opening is an opportunity for us to share with the industry how we will collaboratively work with our clients to help them create their next ʻbig idea.ʼ”
During the grand opening event, members of the media and IOI Loders Croklaan executives will tour the newly completed facility, enjoy tapas and hors dʼoeuvres, and then experience a Creative Studio Session led by Chef Segal, who is known to have a few big ideas of her own, including the ever-changing locavore-inspired menu at her renowned Chicago restaurant and dessert bar, HotChocolate.
Segal, who has over 20 years of experience crafting sweets, has a reputation for putting a modern twist on traditional classics. During the Creative Studio Session at the grand opening, Segalʼs talents will be on display as she utilizes IOI edible oils to craft classic desserts with an artisan twist.
In addition to enjoying delights from the chef whom Jean Banchet Awards named “Best Celebrity Pastry Chef in Chicago,” attendees of the event will experience first-hand how IOI Loders Croklaan transforms its clientsʼ product development needs and application challenges into big ideas at its Creative Studio.
